Washington, D.C. – Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Chairman Sam Graves (R-MO) today announced the following Republican staff changes for the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee:

Abigail Camp Wenk has been promoted to Deputy Staff Director.  Abby has served as Senior Advisor and Director of Member Services and Coalitions since December 2022.  She joined the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee in 2019 as Director of Coalitions and Operations.  Prior to her time at T&I, Abby served as Deputy Coalitions Director at the House Agriculture Committee and as Deputy Press Secretary at the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC).  She began her career in Rep. Graves’ personal office in 2015.

Corey E. Cooke will continue to serve as General Counsel but will take on additional responsibility for overseeing policy development.
Corey has served as General Counsel for the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Republicans since January 2020, having previously served as Deputy General Counsel since 2019.  Prior to joining T&I, she was a Senior Advisor, then Regional Administrator for the Northwest/Arctic Region at the U.S. General Services Administration.  Corey has also held several positions in both the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate, including as Counsel and Deputy Parliamentarian for the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

Meghan Holland has been promoted to Deputy General Counsel.  Meghan joined the Committee in December of 2022 as Senior Counsel.  Prior to T&I, she was Counsel for the Oversight Subcommittee of the Natural Resources Committee, and she also previously worked as Legislative Counsel for a Member of the South Carolina House Delegation.

Leslie Parker has been promoted to Director of Member Services and Coalitions.  Leslie has served as the Deputy Director of Member Services and Coalitions since January 2023.  She first joined the Committee staff in 2021 as a Legislative Assistant on the Water Resources and Environment Subcommittee and the Highways and Transit Subcommittee. Prior to joining T&I, she worked in Chairman Graves’ personal office, since 2018, as a Legislative Correspondent and a Legislative Assistant.

“After a productive year in 2023, the Committee plans to build on our success by charting an aggressive agenda for the second session of the 118th Congress. From completing our work on a comprehensive, long-term FAA bill and Pipeline Safety and Coast Guard authorizations, to passing the next Water Resources Development Act, to continuing oversight of the Biden Administration’s policies impacting our transportation and supply chain networks, this committee will continue its track record of advancing commonsense transportation policies.  The promotions of these proven, trusted, and experienced members of our staff will help ensure that the Committee advances our ambitious agenda through the second half of this Congress,” said Chairman Graves.
