Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Materials Subcommittee Chairman Troy Nehls (R-TX) sent a letter to Troy Miller, Acting Commissioner of the United States Customs and Border Protection, highlighting the importance of the Eagle Pass, Texas, freight rail gateway and expressing concerns over how the border crisis and illegal migration is impacting the Nation’s flow of commerce. Chairman Nehls requested information about the incident and plans to prevent a future closure.
