Subcommittee to Hold Pipeline Safety Hearing in Preparation for Reauthorization This Year

Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Materials Subcommittee Chairman Troy Nehls (R-TX) announced that the Subcommittee will hold a hearing focused on pipeline safety and the implementation of the Protecting Our Infrastructure of Pipelines and Enhancing Safety (PIPES) Act of 2020.  The Committee intends to reauthorize the federal pipeline safety program this year.  Next week’s hearing will be held at 10:00 a.m. ET on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
