Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Republicans have released a COVID-19 Resource Guide cataloguing the actions taken by the various federal agencies under the Committee’s jurisdiction during this unprecedented pandemic crisis.

“Committee Republicans are laser focused on working with the Trump Administration and our colleagues to ensure that the domestic supply chain can continue to move,” said Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Ranking Member Sam Graves (R-MO).  “Despite many states ordering citizens to stay home, the supplies families need must continue to get where they need to go.  In some cases, these are life and safety critical supplies to battle the pandemic, or in other cases they are simply the everyday items Americans need to remain in safely in their homes.  In order to keep the supply chain intact, planes, trains, trucks, and ships are still essential.

Graves continued, “We owe a debt of gratitude to our transportation industry workers, but right now what they need from us is the flexibility and support to do their jobs and keep our supply chain moving during this important time.  We will continue to work with Secretary Chao and other agency leaders to ensure our transportation network can continue to reliably move sorely needed goods and resources.”

The COVID-19 Resource Guide is available at Committee Republicans’ website: republicans-transportation.house.gov and will be regularly updated to reflect developments in agencies’ actions.
